Yamba is a town that is located in New South Wales. It is near the mouth of the Clarence River. There are eleven beaches in this town, which makes it worthy of a visit. However, most people choose to visit to do a little whale and dolphin watching, as well as fishing, surfing, and swimming. Also, down by the water is where you will see the Yamba Lighthouse.

When you are not down by the water, you can wander through Yuraygir National Park or Bundjalung National Park. The Story House Museum is a must-see, but if there is one thing to have on your list, it should be taking the ferry over to Iluka.

Yamba is quite far from Sydney, but well worth the adventure. When you leave from this city, you will find yourself traveling to the north for approximately seven hours and twenty minutes. If you are in Brisbane, your journey will be much shorter at three hours and twenty minutes.

If you are interested in having as little driving time as possible, you can always fly into Grafton and then make the one-hour drive to Yamba.

There are many luxury resorts in Yamba, as well as hostels and farm stays. However, it is the camping grounds that are always the most popular option when it comes to accommodations.

Some of the villas and cabins have gorgeous views of the water, so you will want to check them out closely if you want to have amazing views morning, noon, and night. Each one of the villas and cabins offer all the comforts of home, but the villas are the best when you want to go glamping.

There are plenty of amenities at this camping ground. However, the ones you will love the most include the bathrooms, which are complete with showers, laundry facilities, and the free Wi-Fi.

Big4 Saltwater Yamba Holiday Park

The Big4 Saltwater Yamba Holiday Park is only ten minutes from the town of Yamba. This camping ground is on one hundred thirty acres of land, so there is plenty of room in between campsites.

You can spend hours at the waterpark, jumping pillow, playgrounds, and the pool. However, you must make sure you leave a little time to conquer the pump track, ride a pedal kart, and ride on the Wicked Wire Flying Fox.

This camping ground offers campsites for tents and RVs, but they also rent cabins for glamping. Each cabin has its own bathroom, kitchen, and sitting area.

There are plenty of amenities at this camping ground too. The two camp kitchens and four barbecue areas ensure you will never be hungry. There is also a convenience store, laundry facilities, television and movie room, and sporting equipment available to borrow.

Calypso Holiday Park Yamba

The Calypso Holiday Park Yamba is right in the heart of the town of Yamba, so you will always have everything you need without going too far from your campsite. While you will have so much to do at this camping ground, you can escape it for a little shopping and dining out if you wish.

You will enjoy the relaxed vibe of this camping ground, as well as the town. When you are not shopping, you will find yourself swimming, surfing, sailing, and fishing. There is also a swimming pool if you do not want to swim at the beach.

This camping ground offers tent camping, RV camping, and cabin rentals. It is best to reserve your campsite in advance, so you are guaranteed the one you want.

There are quite a few amenities at this camping ground, but the ones you will like the most include the laundry facilities, playground, and free Wi-Fi.

Yamba Waters Holiday Park

The Yamba Waters Holiday Park is directly across the street from the Yamba Marina, which is perfect if you want to spend your days out on the water. Angourie Blue and Green swimming holes are only six kilometers from this camping ground and Bowlo Sports and Leisure Yamba is only two kilometers away.

When you are not out on the water, you can spend your time exploring the Yamba Museum, conquering the Angourie Walking Track, playing miniature golf, and going bowling.

There are campsites for tents and RVs at this camping ground, but they also rent out studio rooms and a garden villa. These last two are perfect if you have never been camping before and do not have the equipment you need for the ultimate experience.

The amenities at this camping ground include a barbecue area, pool table, self-serve laundry, community television room, community kitchen, and free Wi-Fi.
